Kari has suggested that I check out the universitys, and go on the Invention 'Missions'. Thats correct, 'Missions'. I'm guessing there wil be some good money to be made selling the stuff you can gain by doing these. The new auction facility is supposed to be quite easy to use. If your like me and have a bunch of SO's that are nearing the end of their life, or are still using (god forbid) Dual-Origin upgrades. This should be a good way to get some cash and maximise your powers. Oh yeah, post your inventions here too... please. Well if you feel like it.  |

Well as I said in another thread, not made a huge amount, less of the more 'special' stuff, but have been selling odd bits, and you're right about it being handy to make inf at lower levels in that way. Also just using the IO's as they don't expire removes the need to buy new ones, or atleast puts it off - the IO's are scaled to go up in effectiveness as DO's/SO's would become better, so can't leave them too long often.

Been using the inventions quite a bit now and I must say that it helps a great deal, especially for lower toons. Selling salvage seems to be more help with the influence earning than enhancements. Also, if you build up your bonus invention sets, this helps heaps. However, this can be quite costly. Depending on the bonus set you've gone for and how many of the set you have, will determine how much they boost your toon. I once saw a toon who had at least 15 lines of bonus sets from enhances and I must say the auction houses are always busy and needless to say - laggy. But if you have the influence to do them and the patience, do it. It helps!  |

Need I mention, this is great for lower level toons in earning quick influence/infamy. If you really want to get those rare items, do tfs/sfs. You will always be offered a rare recipe or enhancement (DO/SO/hamidon depending on lvl). In my opinion always go for a rare recipe or if you are high enough hami enhancement.
I picked up a respec recipe once and they go for 16mil. I had to have at least 500k to even sell it for 10mil. Be careful what you sell at the auction house/black market as sometimes you can get more inf from selling at the shops. For example, at current, you can sell a masterwork weapon for around 1k when at the shop you can sell at 100 or 250. But for something like a Cybernetics Charger, they sell for around 10-100 at the market but at the shop 100 or 250 (I can't remember exact prices and of course, this is subject to change depending on demand).
